As a church body, we invite parents to dedicate their children before the Lord and to ask for the Lord's blessing over their life. 

This act of dedicating a child is not something that affects their salvation. 

But this is something we do by faith as a public church-body event so that the church can witness you, as parents, making a commitment to raise the child in the Lord. And also, we give the church the opportunity to commit to supporting you and your family through the process of raising up the child in the ways of the Lord (Prov 22:6).

During the ceremony, the parents will be invited to come to the front with their child and be prayed over.
