Why Study Hebrew?

The Bible was written by God using Men to Men.  This requires that a culture, time and language be chosen.  It was also written to a particular people at different times.  There are two major sections, the old covenant (testament) and new covenant (testament).  The new makes 25\% written in the lingua franca (common language) of the time i.e. Greek.  The old 75\% was written in two languages, the majority of which is Hebrew.

DEC is offering an Introduction to Biblical Hebrew.  It will be a taste v. (Taste and see that the LORD is good PS. 34:8); of the language, script (letters), and various grammatical structures.

Join us this fall for the 2024 Men's Retreat!
