men's ministry
The world has one view of what makes a "real man." God has another. Real manhood isn't about flaunting success or having power or eating animals that you shot in the wilderness. It's about quiet leadership, gentle strength, and total devotion to the Lord.
The dec men's ministry exists to encourage men and hold each other accountable to the lofty example that Christ set for us. We meet formally and informally to share in one another's lives and provide encouragement, insight, and prayers for the challenges we face in being men, husbands, and fathers that honor the Lord.
Of course, some of us also eat the animals that we killed out in the wilderness. That's fine too.
